Wine on the River 2016

The Robertson Wine Valley brings a spring Experience on the banks of the Breede River!
Join us in Spring 2016: 14. - 16. October 2016 for the Robertson Wine on the River Festival.

This idyllic open-air wine festival takes place on the banks of the Breede River at the Goudmyn Farm between Robertson and Bonnievale. 
Just imagine a setting with the river flowing by, vineyards all around, beautiful hills and shading poplar trees.  Add to that live music, plenty of wines to taste, picnics and other local produce – and you’ve got yourself a spring festival not to be missed!

Bonnievale Festival

Join Bonnievale for its 22nd annual festival. We have exciting activities planned for the weekend of 4 - 5 November 2016

and invite everyone to join us for fun, laughter, lots of outdoor activities, music and fabulous food and drink.  
The festival will be hosted at new premises in town, proudly provided to us by Outdoor Arena in Main Street.
Your daily pass will cost R60 per person, wich will allow you access to the festival grounds.

Hands-on Harvest

Yes, you read right! From 2017, the the Robertson Wine Valley is proud to announce that the seventh Hands-on Harvest will be a festival stretching over 2 Month!

The festival will still take the format of a boutique event that offers wine aficionados and budding vintners a chance to experience the magic of harvest for a day – without having to quit their day jobs!

Guests can look forward to:

  • Grape Picking

  • Bunch Sorting

  • Stomping your own grapes Grape vs Wine Tasting

  • Harvest Market

  • Vineyard Tractor Trips Must tasting

  • Wine tasting by Horse Cart …. and much more

Groups are small and intimate to ensure that you have the very best hands-on experience and all activities need to be pre-booked at least 3 DAYS before the festival. But hurry…as many of the tickets will be booked by then!
